We love, love, love our new city!

We are all settled in Chattanooga, and we are doing a little exploring and a lot of studying. We have Bar review classes every night, and we study most of the day, but as you can see we have managed to carve out a little time to have fun. The area you are looking at in the picture below is Northshore (which is where we live). The Northshore area is full of restaurants, shops, condos, etc. and is a two minute walk across the pedestrian bridge to downtown. Our apartment is located up in those hills that you see in the photo. The bridge in the photo is the pedestrian bridge, which is the longest in the world. Nick and I enjoy exercising on that bridge because there is usually a great breeze and beautiful views of downtown, the River, Signal Mountain and Lookout Mountain. One of our new favorite activities is hiking. In the next two pictures we are hiking on Signal Mountain. Notice the rhododendron (the purple flowers) in the background of the first picture. Those only bloom in nature once a year and only last for about three weeks. We have had the opportunity to see them twice now.
The picture below was taken on Signal Mountain, and the view is of Raccoon Mountain and the Narrows of the Tennessee River. Last weekend Ashley came to visit! Because of our busy study schedule, she could only come for one day, but we were thrilled to have her. This picture was taken on top of Lookout Mountain.

Overall, we absolutely love it here, but please keep us in your prayers as we study, meet new friends, and look for a church home.

I made the blog! I had a great time while I was there. Y'all keep studying, and I'll see you soon.

Your pictures are so pretty, and I'm glad you get to enjoy time together amidst the non-stop studying. Do you think you'll be in town later this month when I'm home? Let me know b/c I want to see you before I leave. Love you!

Studying for the bar is overrated. Nick needs a fanny pack for your hiking trips... there is an associate law school dean in Miss. that may have one he can borrow.

I'm so jealous! I want to be the next visitor! Can't wait to see you, Nick, and the wonderful life that you've made (so far!) in "Nooga!"
